GOOSESTOCK 2008 - MAY BANK HOLIDAY

Beer, music, sunshine .. it must be the Goose Festival.   Well it was all but the sunshine, rain, rain and more rain.   Never mind a great day despite the weather. Music was played inside and outside the Pub, throughout the afternoon and evening. Visitors came from far and wide, all had a jolly good time, despite vehicles having to be pulled out of the mud at the end of the day. Everyone looking forward to Goosestock in August and hopefully a dry warm day.

Tuesday 29 July our customers had the pleasure of Pontypool Folk Dancers
entertaining them during the evening, despite a chilly damp evening they were able to dance outside and later inside, one of the dances being the Llanover Reel, in keeping with the area.  Our thanks to Keith Bucknall for organising the event.  See our Photo Gallery of the event.
